Service Network Update for August

Hello everyone! Happy August! Hope everyone is keeping cool, hydrated and DRY with our daily rain showers!

We had a great success in July with Acute Home Healthcare’s kosher luncheon and information session. Many of you asked for them to return with other topics, so they will be coming back on August 22nd at 11:00AM. Please RSVP at the reception desk if you would like to attend.

Two other highlights in August will be Bill Kahn’s session on the 10th and Refreshment & Conversation with Judge Leon B. Cheek III. Bill Kahn travels the country educating people about how to avoid Scams, Frauds, and Cons, and Judge Cheek III will keep you well informed with answers. These are sure to be two interesting sessions! The Center for Independent living will be here on the 8th again, as they were last year, giving away free phones for the hearing impaired. Please RSVP at the reception desk. Ryan would like to thank to everyone who has met with him the past two months to update paperwork! He is almost done, and he only has a few people left to visit. If you get a letter from him, please try to contact him. It’s very important we have updated information from you each year, as situations change for everyone.

It’s a great month for lemonade! Our favorite thirst quencher celebrates its 382nd birthday this month! Lemonade was first served for King Louis XIII on August 20th, 1630, and it became a hit. So be sure to celebrate your August with some lemonade to beat the heat!
