The Kinneret Council on Aging (KCOA) is committed to providing a quality, life-enhancing residential experience for the residents of Kinneret Apartments, located in downtown Orlando, Florida.
As a non-profit organization the KCOA helps to provide many of the programs that make Kinneret one of the most desired senior housing facilities in Orlando.
The subsidized dining program offered to all Kinneret residents helps to ensure that our residents do not have to choose between medicine and food. Kinneret offers a professionally staffed kitchen, which prepares and serves high quality, nutritious, kosher meals Monday – Friday. The Kinneret Council on Aging subsidizes the cost of every meal. The subsidy is raised through the generosity of the Central Florida community.
In addition, KCOA funds the Congregate Housing Services Program at Kinneret which helps transition our frailest of residents to independence after suffering a fall or illness. Kinneret is only one of 29 facilities in the US that receives a matching HUD grant for this vital program. This program can only exist when funds are matched at the local level.
KCOA welcomes all support.
