July KTA Update

Hi Everyone,
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Esther Wallace, who lost her daughter to complications of multiple sclerosis. Thanks to all who donated, we, the residents of Kinneret, were able to raise $329.00 to assist her in her time of need. The KCOA members donated a much larger amount, and we are most grateful.
I hope everyone signed up for our July 8th Celebration of Independence Day. We are having hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, lemonade and brownies. The entertainment planned is new to Kinneret, but it came to us highly recommended. The musician plays all types of music — even salsa! — so get your dancing shoes ready.
Bea Kellogg had a surprise 90th Birthday Party in the dining room. She was so pleased, and she said it was the wedding she never had. Pablo’s friend Elsa made enough beautiful cakes to serve 100 people. They were delicious with edible flowers on them. It was presented so beautifully with a fountain in the center. The singer sang to Bea many times, and they sang a duet together. It was a great evening, and the residents enjoyed themselves.
It’s hard to believe its already July. Please be sure to drink lots of water; it’s easy to become dehydrated. Until next time, be kind to your friends and neighbors.
Carol Simpson, KTA President
